The Founder and President of
Petlad Education Trust , Petlad Shri Ramanlal Keshavlal Parikh
Late Sheth Shri Keshavlal Parikh¡¯s family was one of the most respected and honored families of the Vadodara state of Honorable Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad in the preindependent India, felicitated three sons of this family with the four most precious awards. Among them Late Sheth Shri Ramanlal Parikh was honored as ¡°Rajmitra¡± and ¡°Datar¡± awards.
He was born on a very sacred day in the Hindu calendar, the ¡°Ram Navami¡± He left his studies at the age of 15 and joined his family business. Within few years he achieved his name and fame in the business.He was very keen on serving the cause of Primary and Higher education, especially for the benefits of young boys and girls in the villages when there was no college between Ahmedabad and Vadodara. He founded Petlad Education Trust by donating a huge sum of money in 1945.

Trust History At a time when parents living in Petlad Town
and Petlad Taluka were reluctant to send their sons and daughters to
distant places like Ahmedabad and Baroda for higher studies, a noble
idea came to the mind of the Late Sheth Shri Ramanlal Keshavlal Parikh
that there should be an institution for higher studies in his area.
